Mexican Restaurant

subject: Mexican Restaurant

Hello Ms. Bennett,

I am writing to discuss a potential restaurant I am hoping to bring to Frederick.  I believe there is a void for a Mexican restaurant in Frederick and I am hoping to be a valuable member of the community.  While I am not of Mexican heritage, I do have over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry.  The main cook will be my gardener, Jose Montezuma.  He previously worked at "La Luna es Blanca's" in Lincoln, but was fired due to an unfortunate turrets situation.  The name of my restaurant is "Montezuma's Revenge" as the restaurant will requite all the doubters that Jose has faced in his life time.

I believe that our food will leave a lasting impression on guests.  My goal would be for every citizen in Frederick to have Montezuma's Revenge at least once.  I plan on having an exciting, initial grand opening in an attempt to inflect a rapid fever throughout town.  Coupons!  Balloons!  C-3P0!  It will be fantastic.

Please let me know what I will need in order to start my restaurant.  I am hoping to be up and running by October 2013 and plan on hiring 8 full time employees and 10 part time employees.

Thank you,
Sasha Kaun

ps.  I know you are wondering, but Jose is a legal American citizen.  No need to worry.

Thank you for contacting us!

I will be in touch soon.

Can you tell us where you reside now?
Do you have any ties to Frederick?  Do you have any thought of where you might house this restaurant?

We  had a Mexican restaurant start up last year, but sadly it has closed, but there might be the building and equipment available? I really don't know the situation.

Thanks
Sharon Bennett

Hi Sharon,

I currently reside in New Orleans, but am losing interest in the city due to the frequent hurricanes.  I have far less fear in tornadoes than I do hurricanes and believe Frederick to be the perfect area to raise my children.  In fact my grandfather, Cash Wyatt, lived in Frederick for a number of years.  Perhaps you remember him?  This is how I am familiar with Frederick from my visits as a child.  I was also supposed to move to Frederick after college but instead joined the Navy Seals.  We were locally known as the best animal-themed, synchronized swim team in Florida despite audience difficulty seeing us in our blue uniforms.

I was hoping to move into an existing building.  I do have some restaurant equipment, but I might be interested in purchasing additional equipment if it fits the business.  This will not be "Tex-Mex" food as I want it to be authentic.  At Montezuma's Revenge, I want people to feel like they are actually eating and drinking in Mexico.

You stated that you would be in touch soon so I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Sasha

Hello,

I noticed your Craigslist ad (http://bloomington.craigslist.org/apa/3016155937.html) when Cody Zeller retweeted it.  I am extremely interested in this apartment.  So much so, that I want it.  Therefore, I am writing this to tell you that I will take it!  Having watched Cody dunk multiple times this year, I can only imagine how useful he will be as a roommate.  I am very small (4'10"), so it is difficult for me to reach the top shelves as well as back of the freezer or into the microwave.  Having a roommate of his size will really make me more efficient.  No longer will I have to move my step stool all around the kitchen.

Please let me know what I need to do to sign something.

Thanks,
Sasha

Sasha,

I am sorry to inform you that Cody is not and will not be living in this apartment. He was simply retweeting it for me due to our friendship.  If you are still interested I am glad to talk to you about it! It is a great place to live!

Meaghan,

Oh, I was under the impression Cody would be living at the apartment.  I now understand that will not be the case.  I am still interested in the apartment.  Will Cody be available to come over periodically to help me with high, hard-to-reach areas of the apartment?  It is my understanding that his size would be beneficial.  I am thinking around 3-4 times a week but I am flexible (former gymnast in high school).

Thanks,
Sasha

Sasha,

I am very happy to hear that you are still interested! I got a great laugh out of your response, and to be honest, if you would really like to meet Cody I am sure I could arrange that! I am an athlete here just as he is and we are friends so that is not a problem at all! Would you be living alone or with 2 other roommates? We have a great location and it is a fun place to live! If you did in fact want roommates we have one other girl who is interested as well but if not and you have no problem living alone we can definitely work something out!

Subject: Bell's Contact: Customer Service - Bell's beer

Hello,

I am writing to obtain information on one of your beers.  It is the Bell's Palsy.  I drank it while attending the Meat Manufacturing Convention in Chicago last year.  It is my second favorite beverage I have ever tasted (can't go wrong with milk).  However, the Bell's Palsy is not available in my native Russia, so I am very much looking forward to it at this year's convention.  Too be honest, last year I enjoyed it so much that I drank as much as I could, even to the point that I had trouble controlling myself.  This year I promise to be better behaved, but I wanted to verify that I will be able to obtain it in Chicago (late April).  I did not see the Bell's Palsy listed on your website.  I hope you have not discontinued it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
Sasha

Dear Sasha:

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I apologize that I have not responded sooner.

Bell’s Pale Ale is available year round and you should not have trouble finding it in Chicago when you visit. In fact, our Beer Finder can provide you with a list of places to start along with a Google map. I would caution however, that you may want to call ahead before you head out the door, as the results link to recent deliveries rather than real time results. Here is a direct link for your convenience: http://bellsbeer.com/brands/brand-finder/

If there is anything else I can help you with, please feel free to contact me directly.

Josh,
First of all, your name is very American.  Your parents must be proud.
To be honest, I did not care for the Bell's Pale Ale.  It was a little too bitter for my liking.  In fact, I had inquired about the Bell's Palsy.  It was more of an amber ale, not a pale ale.  I took a picture of the bottle, but I dropped my Android in the Hudson River last November (long story) otherwise I would send it to you.  If you want, I can send you a picture of me after an evening of drinking Bell's Palsy.  My face was priceless.
Anyway, let me know as my convention is later this month.
Thanks,
Sasha

Unfortunately, I am unsure what other beer you could be referring to. We do not make a beer named “Palsy” and would never use a name so close to such a serious medical condition. I will sell it to you for only $5,000 (cash only!). Please let me know what you think of this very generous offer.

March Madness - Wolfpack style

subject: March Madness - Wolfpack style

Hello Ms. Yow!,

First of all, let me congratulate you for the great job you have done for the university. Everyone has done their part! As an alumnus, I am EXTREMELY excited for State's run in the NCAA tournament. I haven't been this excited about Wolfpack athletics since 2011. I truly believe we can beat Kansas. They haven't won a meaningful game since Wilt Chamberlain was a Jayhawk. GO WOLFPACK!

Which brings me to my question. I will be attending the game on Friday in St. Louis. I would like to bring my pet wolf to the game. I have had my wolf as a pet for over 7 years now. His name is O'Charley named after the popular casual dining restaurant. I have an extra ticket for O'Charley to use but I wasn't sure about any policies St. Louis has about pets. I know they don't have a policy against some mammals as I have noticed on FOX that some football fans bring their pet rams to the games. O'Charley is potty trained and will not require any special attention. He is also a good luck charm. Oddly, he also enjoys high school tennis.

Please let me know if I should expect any difficulty in bringing O'Charley to St. Louis with me. I look forward to hearing from you and GO WOLFPACK!

Thanks,

Sasha

Sasha,

I am glad you are supporting the Wolfpack here in Saint Louis.
That said, it would seem unlikely that the Dome would allow a pet wolf in the building. If I were you, I would call ahead to the Edward R. Jones Dome to ask that question...long before the game time.

Marlins Season Tickets

Rita,

I am writing to inquire about Marlins season tickets. As a Colts fan, I was very distraught that Peyton Manning retired from the Colts to pursue his baseball dream. It is my understanding that MJ did the same thing at the height of his career. I believe it was shortly after his Thriller album. However, I heard ESPN state that he was interested in Miami and even flew to Miami after the press conference yesterday. Therefore, I am looking to possibly purchase Marlins season tickets so I can watch my favorite athlete perform (I once met him at a Winn Dixie). I would like my seats to be as close to Peyton as possible. Please confirm what position Peyton will most likely play and which seats you would recommend. My guess is that he will use his laser rocket arm in the bullpen so I would want to sit nearest the bullpen. But based on Peyton's athleticism, I could see him playing 2nd base.

Let me know which tickets you recommend. I would be looking for two (2) tickets for the season (home games only).

Thanks,
Sasha

St Patrick's Day Body Paint Models Needed (LODO)

Date: 2012-02-14, 9:49AM MST
Reply to: 89qn7-2851080959@gigs.craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I will be needing 6-10 female models for Body Painting on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, at a tavern in LoDo. They are offering a bar tab for your participation or some kind of compensation if you don't drink. Some of the models will need to arrive by 9:30am-ish to be ambassadors of good will for the parade attendees, passing out free beads and flyers, then back to the bar to be body painted, party and pass out more free stuff until around 4pm when the morning crowd thins. The managers of the bar are really great, fun people and you will be treated very well.

At around 7:30pm we will need a few more models to show up for Body Painting during the evening rush until around midnight.
Models need to be 21 and over, friendly, out-going and really enjoy the LoDo crowd. Minimum topless with pasties are required.

Message, call or text me to state your interest and preferred time slot. Be sure to send a current face and full body photo so I know who you are.

Thank you!

Hello Mr. David Cabellero,

My name is Sasha.  I am 23 years old and and very interested in the position you posted on Craigslist.  I would be available for either the morning or evening shifts.  I could also work both shifts.  Bar tab compensation is also sufficient for me as I often drink.  I would actually rather be paid in drinks than money.  You can't use money to get drunk, but you get use drinks!  I want to make it clear that I will not be drinking during my work (unless required).  I will only do what is required.

I do have both St. Patrick's Day experience as well as being body painted.  In 2009, I was prominently featured in Chicago's Southside St. Patrick's Day parade.  In 2010, I had my upper body painted for the World Cup and went to a bar like this.  It was very uncomfortable.  The body paint was fine, but I found soccer to be very awkward.  I want to make it clear that I do not have an issue with minimum topless with pasties.  I am very comfortable in my body and often go through the Arby's drive-thru topless with only pasties.

Please let you know if you are interested in me.  I am often found in LoDo on the weekends and some days during the week.  I think I would be fantastic at this position.  Please let me know if you need a resume.  I have references upon request.

Thanks,
Sasha

Hi Sasha-
Sounds good. The bar is Maloney's in Lodo. The managers are awesome and will take great care of you. Please let me know if you want to do the early shift or the later one. The morning one will be fun as you will go out as an entourage, with the manager Sam, to hit the parade goers and pass out free stuff before going back to the bar to party and be painted. I think you will be able drink whichever shift you do as long as you are responsible and don't get too crazy, at least til you're done.

Call or text me and we can talk about it. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

David,

Thanks for the quick reply.  I am very excited!  I agree with you, the morning session sounds the best.  However, I have a few questions:
1.  What will be painted on me?  If it is my choice, I would prefer a picture of a 4-leaf clover, Jeremy Lin, or my friend Conor dressed as Harry from Home Alone (also Home Alone 2)
2.  I promise I will be responsible drinking during my shift.  The only thing passed out will be the free stuff.  I will not drink and drive a float during the parade.
3.  Why are you still using a hotmail account?
4.  Will I be required to wear bottoms?  If not, should I cover my tattoo?  It is a picture of John Stamos.
5.  Will I be allowed to "go home" with a patron following my shift?  I plan on being fun and flirting with guys during my shift and will probably be horny when my shift is over.  Especially if I have been sipping on gin and juice #snoopdogglyrics

These are the questions I have.  Let me know if you have any for me.

Thanks,
Sasha

Good morning Sasha-
Good questions...
1. The managers want green corsets with shamrocks to match their fliers.
2. Oh good, there will be no drunken float races.
3. I've had this email address for 12 years it's on all my cards and stuff.
4. Yes, bottoms are welcome. I figure form fitting paints or short skirts would look sexy. If you want to just do bikini bottoms I don't think anyone would complain either.
5. If you want to go home with someone afterward you are more than welcome to. Just be safe and responsible, ok?

I found out last night that the 107.5 party bus will be taking some of our girls out with them to broadcast live from around the area. I still need more details on that but this sounds like a great opportunity for all of us.

If you are interested in meeting before the event... I work at Disguises Costumes at W. Colfax and Kipling most days from 10 to 5. If you are in the neighborhood please text me and drop by. Tin Caps Mascot - B side

Hello,

I am very excited about the new team name.  I never understood why the Wizards had a Dragon mascot.  I enjoyed it when the old Wizard mascot would put a spell on the opponent and the Wizards would win.  But then they got rid of the Wizard and got a Dragon.  I wished that the Dragon would have used his powers to propel Fort Wayne to victory.  Is this why the team decided to get a new mascot?

I am very excited about the new mascot.  I will be your mascot.  Growing up, people always said that I looked like Johnny Appleseed.  I even started to dress like him.  I have done so for 17 years now, including the tin cap!  Even when I sleep!  I very rarely take off this tin cap (less than 7 times in 17 years).  I will be the perfect mascot for your team.  I can do many tricks including a back flip, the chicken dance, and I can hop on 1 foot for over 8 hours straight.

I can't wait for April 16.  I have marked it on my calendar and have told all my friends and family that I will be on the field as the mascot.  They are very excited.  People are flying in from all over the country to see me perform as the Fort Wayne Tin Caps mascot.  Which stadium entrance should I enter on this day?  I am EXCITED!!

I look forward to hearing from you.  Thanks.

The position has been filled. We have an Appleseed descendant that will be filling the position.  We did a nationwide search  and checked with the genealogy library here in town to confirm his heritage. We felt this was the best option to go with. He has some amazing talents that will really thrill the crowd.

This is who I am; I enjoy many things in this life and you can find me Cooking great meals, getting down on the dance floor, lifting weights, well groomed, and enjoying the outdoors...this includes but not limited to jogging, music feastivals, rafting, snowboarding, and yes I have been sky diving. I love driving, just an after thought I'm driving to Kansas city this week. I mean why have a nice car and Not drive it. lol. Well this description is brief, yes, but I have to leave something to your imagination...
