Becky,

Long time, no talk.

I believe I saw your Eiffel Tower in the movie, The Hangover. Although I didn't notice the red hat, I'm pretty sure it was the same one. Paris, Texas looks really exciting. I can't wait to come. Hopefully by August!

Is it true that I will get bigger when I cross the Texas state line?

Let me know,
Sasha

Becky,

I appreciate your willingness, but a visitor packet will not be necessary. However, I would like a parade upon my arrival. Do you think this could be arranged? I will throw out candy to the children if you want me to.

Let me know. Thanks,
Sasha

South Side Parade Idea

fromSasha Kaun

subjectSouth Side Parade Idea

Hello Mr. Belloli,

I have a great idea to increase tourism to South Side Pittsburgh. I believe if South Side revived Chicago's South Side Irish parade during the St. Patrick's Day weekend, many Chicagoans would visit. Native South Side residents would also enjoy this pleasureful treat.

I think it will build on the history of the South Side Irish Parade and add a little more flair. I want my 10 foot leprechaun to be the Co-Grand Marshall in the parade along with Charlie Weis. Although he is not of Irish descent, he does coach the Fighting Irish and that is good enough for me. I propose that every time the float carrying the leprechaun and Charlie Weis passes a food establishment, it will stop and a representative from the establishment will roller skate out to the float and present Mr. Weis with the food from that restaurant. He will then eat it and wave to the crowd. I think the crowd will go wild! Dogs will bark! This will help promote South Side business.

I am writing you because I would like to ask for you help in organizing this parade. I heard you have great experience in parades and could be a great asset to our team.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sasha:

Thanks for idea on how to promote the South Side. While we do have some of our own targeted promotions, they are currently targeted to February and May, so adding an event of this scale in March would be quite challenging for our small staff.

You may want to check with others such as the South Side Chamber of Commerce to assess their interest.

Again, thanks for your interest and ideas.

Rick,

My 10 foot leprechaun and I would be more than willing to help with any preparation for this parade event. I think Charlie Weis will prepare on his own (at the LaFortune Burger King if you know what I mean!). There is nothing better than a South Side Irish parade (believe me). I would think you could even hop into the parade for a little bit (if the police don't see you). I did last year!

Please let me know who I should speak to as far as setting up a sub-committee for this event. This parade will be better than ezra!

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Good luck.

subjectRaping Help

Hello Mr. DeRogatis,

My name is Sasha and I am an aspiring raper from Chicago. Do you think you will be able to assist me in my goal of becoming a world recognized raper? I can send you some of my raping videos if this helps.

Do you have any recommendations for me as I try to become more well known? What are the most important things for me to work on? Any little bits of information you have would be helpful.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Sasha -- I'd be happy to listen to the music if you have any posted online (step one: Get a MySpace page). Send me the link when you're up and rolling.

Also: Be careful with your spelling! Rap is in large part about words. I am sure you meant "rapping" not "raping" and "rapper" not "raper." Think about it for a minute!

All the best --

Llamas

fromSasha Kaun

subjectTin Caps Question

Hello Justin,

I am writing this email to verify that my party will be allowed to attend the June 12 game versus Dayton. It will be myself, my mother, and my pet llama. We just want to see the baseball game. I have been a Tin Caps fan for more years than I can count.

I know you might be thinking that the llama would be a disturbance, but you would be wrong. The llama will be completely behaved. I have trained it well. It once sat through an episode of Carson Daly without getting upset or anxious. My mother will be a bigger disturbance than the llama. If anything, she should not be allowed in. The llama is even potty trained. My mother will probably yell and scream when things don't go our way. She might even spit. She is more of a llama than my pet llama, but less than a camel (although she does have a hump).

Will this be a problem? I plan on purchasing a ticket for myself, my mother, and my llama.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sasha

Sasha,

Thanks for sending along your request. We unfortunately do not allow llamas into Parkview Field. Regardless of how well trained they might be and how well behaved they are, it is not allowed.

There are plenty of places that you can enjoy an afternoon or evening with your llama, just not at Parkview Field. You and your Mother, on the other hand, are welcome anytime.

Michael,

Although I disagree with your policy, I understand and will respect it. I do hope that my mother will be allowed in. She looks more like a llama than you will ever realize. I believe this is where the expression "Is your mamma a llama?" originated.

Where do you suggest I can spend time with my llama? Usually we enjoy a nice dinner at Coney Island Wiener Stand, but I would really like an activity we can enjoy together afterward. Please advise.

Thanks,
Sasha

Sasha,

I’ve never spend much time with llamas, but I would suggest a nice farm or open field someplace. I’m not sure as to the Fort Wayne City Parks restrictions on llamas, but you could ask them about their policy and what might be available to you there. How do you transport your llama?
