Hello,

I am very excited about the new team name.  I never understood why the Wizards had a Dragon mascot.  I enjoyed it when the old Wizard mascot would put a spell on the opponent and the Wizards would win.  But then they got rid of the Wizard and got a Dragon.  I wished that the Dragon would have used his powers to propel Fort Wayne to victory.  Is this why the team decided to get a new mascot?

I am very excited about the new mascot.  I will be your mascot.  Growing up, people always said that I looked like Johnny Appleseed.  I even started to dress like him.  I have done so for 17 years now, including the tin cap!  Even when I sleep!  I very rarely take off this tin cap (less than 7 times in 17 years).  I will be the perfect mascot for your team.  I can do many tricks including a back flip, the chicken dance, and I can hop on 1 foot for over 8 hours straight.

I can't wait for April 16.  I have marked it on my calendar and have told all my friends and family that I will be on the field as the mascot.  They are very excited.  People are flying in from all over the country to see me perform as the Fort Wayne Tin Caps mascot.  Which stadium entrance should I enter on this day?  I am EXCITED!!

I look forward to hearing from you.  Thanks.
Sasha Kaun

Sasha,
Did you fill out an application? Did we miss you at the job fair? Who did you interview with? I think we would have remembered you when you came in with your TinCap on. If you are working for us, what rate of pay did we quote you? Did you fill out your I-9? HR cannot find your file, can you help us with that? Have you been to orientation? Did you make it to the tryouts?

Bill,

You ask many questions!  I feel like you would be a great host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire if Regis ever couldn't.  Is that show still on TV?  The person at the job fair said I was perfect for the job.  I would work as the mascot of the Fort Wayne Tin Caps for free because I love the Tin Caps and I would be the best person for the job.  As I said, I look exactly like Johnny Appleseed.  What time should I arrive and where is the employee entrance?

Thank you,
Sasha

Sasha,

The position has been filled. We have an Appleseed descendant that will be filling the position.  We did a nationwide search  and checked with the genealogy library here in town to confirm his heritage. We felt this was the best option to go with. He has some amazing talents that will really thrill the crowd.

Hello,

My wife recently visited our family doctor to determine why her hearing has beginning to suffer.  He stated that her loss of hearing can be cured by hearing aids.  As much as my wife and I would like for her to have her hearing back, we are very concerned about this sort of treatment.  Where do these aids come from?  How are these sort of aids placed in the body?  I have read that aids is most often deadly around 10 years.  We are still debating whether it is worth it or not, but we are learning against this treatment.

Will the hearing aids stay contained within the ears or will is spread to the rest of the body?  If it just stays contained in the ears, is it fatal?  Will my wife lose her ears?

Please advise as to what would be the best option for my wife.  Perhaps we can set up an appointment.  I look forward to hearing from you.  I have heard you are most expert on this topic and know that you will be able to answer my questions.

Thanks,
Sasha Kaun

Mr. Kaun,

Thank you for you email.

Hearing aids are small electronic devices that are worn on or just slightly in the ear.  They are custom made and prescribed for each individual hearing loss.   They are worn only when awake and have no negative side effects.

Based on some of the comments in your email, I think you are confused and or misinformed about some things regarding hearing and hearing loss and hearing aids.

I would be more than happy to meet with you and your wife in a consult to explain and and answer any questions that you have.

Hearing aids are wonderful devices for helping people hear and communicate better.

Hello Alderman Ameya Pawar,

First of all, you are a great Alderman and American.  I voted for you once.

I wanted to see what will be done about Jack O'-Lanterns this Halloween.  Last year our neighborhood woke up one Saturday morning and all our pumpkins were destroyed.  I believe Billy Corgan was the culprit although justice was not served against him.  I do not believe this is the first time he has done this.  Can you assign police to keep a close eye on Mr. Corgan this Halloween?  My children were devastated last year and I do not want to experience that again.

Thanks,
Sasha

Good Morning Sasha,

I will pass your kind words to the alderman.  The police will of course be out and about patrolling on Halloween, but their ability to stop any and all smashing of pumpkins is limited as it takes little time to throw a pumpkin on the ground and run.  If you want to preserve your pumpkins through the mischief of the weekend it may be a good idea to bring them inside at night.  I hope the pumpkins survive and that all have a happy Halloween.

Take Care,

Jim
