subject | Clybar |
Hello,
I recently visited Clybar and hope to return many more times this football season. However, I am just curious as to why Clybar has not hung any of Purdue's championship banners as decor. I love walking in to certain bars and restaurants and seeing the history and tradition of the programs they support. I think it would be great if Clybar was decorated this way as well with all of Purdue's championship banners hanging proudly where everyone can see them.
Let me know if you need help with this. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sasha

Ryan,
My father works for a printing and advertising company so he can easily make banners at a discount price. What years did Purdue win the national championship so I can tell him?
Thanks,
Sasha

I will have to look into that and get back to you, I know they won more in basketball than football!

Ryan,
Is this for football or basketball? I'm certain they've won multiple titles in one of those sports. Please advise.

Ryan,
Ok that's what I was thinking as well. What years did they win the NCAA basketball championship?

Ryan,
I was unaware that Purdue had won the national championship so few times. I thought Purdue had won like 5 times or something. Perhaps I was thinking of another sport. Has swimming and diving won a lot? According to Wikipedia, the 1932 championship is considered a mythical national championship. Does this even count as a national championship? Do you want me to have a banner made for Clybar?
Please advise.

I would like to see what a banner would look like. It would ve fun to have one for all the Big Ten Basketball Championships!
