Hello,

I am writing a research paper on state schools in Indiana for a summer school class I am taking. I am having a little bit of trouble trying to determine if the information I have received is correct or if it is some sort of myth. Any help you could offer would be great.

1. Purdue admits less attractive women than other state schools.
2. Legendary Purdue coach Gene Keady never made it to the Final Four, let alone won a championship.
3. Purdue has won the fewest amount national championships (2) in all sports in the Big Ten.
4. Purdue has never won a national championship in baseketball (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mythical_National_Championship

)
5. The area around West Lafayette makes Purdue smell very farmly. It is commonly referred to as a shit-hole.

Please confirm these points I have received. I do not want any false information in my paper and I would like to get at least a C+.

1. Purdue University does not base its admission decision on the attractiveness of a person. The admissions process is competitive and the decisions are based on grade point averages, standardized test scores, vigor of curriculum, extra-curricular activities and other academic criteria.
